Puma plans to hold its own COP in London

The UN's COP26, which took place between October and November of last year in Glasgow, focused on climate change and the environment.
Puma’s own event is set to be held in London’s Shoreditch neighbourhood on September 6. A total of 225 invitees will be in attendance, with more expected to tune in via a free livestream. British model and actress Cara Delevingne will preside over proceedings alongside Puma chief executive, Bjørn Gulden, and the company’s chief sourcing officer, Anne-Laure Descours.
“We will focus on Gen Z during this event, as we want to give this generation a voice when it comes to decisions that have to be made today to shape a more sustainable future,” Mr Gulden commented.
The brand will therefore look to foster discussion around resolving fashion’s waste, materials and other environmental challenges, it said. Parties interested in attending in person or online may express so here.
