French technical textiles cluster Techtera is celebrating its status as the only industry cluster in Europe devoted to textiles to have secured the European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ECEI) gold label.

This label, issued by the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis (ESCA), attests to clusters’ commitment to continuous improvement.

There are 130 innovation clusters, devoted to a wide variety of industries, across Europe and, to date, only 19 of them have received the gold label. Three of these are in France, including Techtera.
