Chief scientific officer of bioplastics specialist Carbios, Alain Marty, has received a prestigious biotechnology industry award.

At the tenth International Congress of Biocatalysis (Biocat), which took place at the Technical University of Hamburg at the end of August, the Biocat Award for industry went to Alain Marty in recognition of his achievements in the field of enzymatic recycling of plastics and PET fibres.
