Sales of chemically recycled Toray nylon 6 to start in March

Fibre and textile developer Toray has announced that it will begin selling nylon 6 chemically recycled fibre, yarns, textiles, and other products in its home market, Japan, in March 2023.

It will use in-house depolymerisation and repolymerisation technology to recycle materials, including materials from recovered fishing nets. 

Toray established a new fibre-to-fibre recycling operation at its factory in Nagoya earlier this year.
