Specialty chemicals provider to the global textile industry Archroma has secured all the necessary regulatory approvals for its acquisition of Huntsman Textile Effects from Huntsman Corporation.

Both parties now expect the transaction, which they announced in August, to close on February 28.

Archroma chief executive, Heike van de Kerkhof, said: “After closing, we will be able to bring together our expert teams and highly complementary product portfolios to offer our customers and brand partners the high performance they expect, while respecting natural resources and the planet.”
