Fibres and textiles business grows by almost 20% at Toray

Japanese group Toray has posted revenues of around $18 billion for its most recent financial year, the 12 months to March 31, 2023, an increase of 11.7% year on year.
Its fibres and textiles business unit was the biggest contributor, with revenues equivalent to $7.2 billion, a rise of 19.5%.
Performance chemicals was next-biggest with revenues of $6.5 billion, a slight decrease compared to the previous year.
