Circular design criteria dominate new collection from Ternua
Outdoor brand Ternua has said “sustainable innovation” is at the heart of its spring-summer 2024 collection.
On presenting the collection at the end of May, the Basque brand said it had favoured mono-material garments and circular design criteria.
Specific innovations include an overhaul of its climbing line, Climvibe, which now has a few carefully chosen items that customers will be able to wear to climb and in their day-to-day lives. The garments are made with 100% recycled cotton and include pieces designed in denim with strategic cuts that favour freedom of movement.
In its spring-summer 2024 collection, Ternua has also completed a line of clothing it calls Adrenalite, which it aims at lovers of high-intensity sports such as trail running or fast hiking. Bermuda shorts and sweatshirts are now part of the line.
Trekking is Ternua’s largest line and, for the new collection, it is adding new jackets (one for rain and another for cold), as well as pants, Bermudas and breathable and comfortable shorts.
