European appointment at TMC
Performance fibre developer TMC, the owner of Nuyarn spinning technology, has appointed Timo Pape as business development director Europe.
The New Zealand-based company described Mr Pape as an experienced corporate entrepreneur with a track record as a product creator and brand strategist. In a career spanning more than 20 years, Timo Pape had extended spells at adidas and Odlo before embarking on entrepreneurial projects of his own.
In his new role, he will be responsible for supporting growth of TMC’s Nuyarn and Herculan products by advancing partnerships with brands.
“We are thrilled to have Timo join the team,” said TMC chief executive, Andy Wynne. “With his background as a product director and expeditionist, he brings invaluable insights into the needs of our core customer and has deep expertise in delivering market-aligned products. This will strengthen our relationships with brands and drive growth throughout the European market.”
For his part, Timo Pape said he had been a fan of Nuyarn for many years and said he was sure TMC’s Nuyarn and Herculan technologies could deliver performance properties to elevate brands’ product propositions.
