Stability meets comfort in new shoe, ASICS claims

Athletic footwear brand ASICS has launched a new running shoe, the GT-2000 12.
Wider basenets, an increased heel bevel and a flared midsole provide what ASICS has referred to as “a guidance system” in the shoe. It has said this will provide runners with extra stability.
Global manager of footwear at the brand, Chad Mullavey, commented: “We’re proud to have reimagined stability so that the GT-2000 12 works with the motion of your stride, keeping your feet comfortable whether you are running shorter or longer distances. The shoe is where stability meets comfort.”
