Polymer producer RadiciGroup has developed a new nylon yarn, which it says is capable of ensuring fabric with good thermal regulation properties without the need for additional treatments.

It has called the new yarn Radilon Chill-fit, saying it is the result of extensive research and development.

Other properties that the group says fabrics made from the new yarn will have include a high level of protection against ultraviolet rays and “a feeling of comfort and freshness for an extended period”.

Members of the Radici team travelled to Munich at the start of October to put fabrics made from the new yarn on display at Performance Days.
