Fibre manufacturing group Indorama Ventures is to provide special polo shirts made from its Deja recycled polyester yarn to Thailand’s amateur weightlifting team.

The weightlifters will wear the shirts at the 2024 International Weightlifting Federation World Cup, which will take place in Phuket from March 31 to April 11.

Indorama’s donation of the shirts is part of a wider sponsorship deal it has made with the Thai Amateur Weightlifting Association (TAWA).

Sustainable polo shirts represent both parties’ commitment to promoting the circular economy and environmental stewardship, Indorama said.
