Canadian outdoor brand Arc’teryx is to create a new vice-president for sustainability role.

Current director of sustainability at the brand, Katie Wilson, has explained that she will report to the person appointed to the new vice-president role and that she will move to a new role.

She explained that she had received encouragement to explore her own vision and goals and share these with the Arc’teryx leadership team. As a result, she will move into a new role focusing on the circular economy and product sustainability.

Ms Wilson said this was work under which she had been “building up steam” for some years and that she was now “thrilled to have the chance to simplify my scope and be fully dedicated to it”.
