Fabric maker Pertex pursues new visual identity
Lancashire-based outdoor fabric developer Pertex has rolled out a new band identity inspired by the “creative ingenuity [and] deep technical knowledge” of its performance-driven heritage, in the words of brand director, Andy Laycock.
The Mitsui-owned producer is known for its lightweight materials, woven from ultra-fine yarns.
Its new strapline reads: “Pertex. Weaving high-performance fabrics for outdoor people since 1979.”
The branding redesign also extends to a new, consumer-facing website which details Pertex-made fabrics’ “unique performance advantages”, history and more “to form deeper connections through shared values and perspectives” by way of education.
