Sweat test from Hohenstein goes into European standard
Textile testing service provider Hohenstein has reported that a test it developed to measure “sweat transportation” has now been incorporated into European standard DIN EN 17534, which measures this phenomenon in textiles.
Hohenstein said its method for testing the ability of textiles to transport liquid sweat has been in place for some time. It is based on simulating high physical exertion.
The test is also part of Hohenstein’s performance index label, which evaluates the performance of sports and outdoor clothing.
