Performance and self confidence boosting brassiere
Akimba, a young company founded by Serena Benedetti Roy, who is based in Monaco, has created a novel new skinwear garment designed to protect outerwear and help women feel confident in moments of stress or intense effort. The young entrepreneur’s Fresh Bra brassieres can be worn underneath everyday clothes, or for a low impact sport activity. Their distinctive feature is an absorbent padding that lines the underarms, and will keep excess sweat invisible. “I designed the brassieres to help women feel more confident,” says Ms Benedetti Roy who points out that “sweat can also damage fine blouses and tops, our Fresh Bra will help keep clothes in good condition for longer.”

The patent-pending design was launched this year. The smooth stretch knit is made from a plant-based nylon, the products feature carefully crafted seamless details and are manufactured in Tunisia and Croatia.

Ms Benedetti Roy is preparing to expand the range to include body-shirts and bottoms.
