Textile technology developer Shima Seiki will have its Mach2XS Wholegarment knitting machine on display at Techtextil 2024, which takes place in Frankfurt from April 23-26.

The Japanese company said it aimed to demonstrate that knitting garments can be “a sustainable, economical and smarter alternative to traditional manufacturing in the field of technical and industrial textiles”.

Its SDS-One Apex4 3D design system will also be on show to demonstrate that virtual sample production can also be a sustainable, smart alternative to traditional sample making.
