Ex-Under Armour exec takes over as Cascale CEO
Non-profit organisation Cascale, formerly the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, has announced that Colin Browne has taken over as its new chief executive.
Mr Browne was chief operating officer of Under Armour until June 2023 and also served for a time as the sports brand’s interim chief executive. After Under Armour, he spent a short period of time as managing director of sourcing in Asia for VF Corporation. Cascale said it would look to his leadership to help it “explore and develop true accountability measures alongside deeper commitments”.
Cascale also said it wants to “amplify its data-driven programmes and its Higg Index tools “to achieve new heights for the greatest possible impact”.
It has announced a manufacturers’ forum in Shanghai on June 28, which Colin Browne will attend.
