Swimwear brand Arena has launched a collection of merino wool shorts, calling it Evo.

It has described the shorts as ultralight and compact, with a range of built-in features, to make them an all-in-one product for beach days.

The Italian brand said the Evo collection embraces merino wool fibre’s natural breathability, water-resistance and elasticity to provide performance and comfort in and out of the water.

Features include a ‘lock-lace’ drawcord at the front and a mesh coin pocket at the side. There is also a thermo-welded, shaped bottom hem to allow “seamless movement”, Arena said.
