Report celebrates second life for Canada Goose products
Outdoor brand Canada Goose has said thousands of its products have been able to enjoy a new, useful life thanks to an authorised resale programme called Generations.
The company launched Generations for US customers in its 2023 business year. It expanded the programme to Canada for the 2024 business year and has now reported the results.
In its most recent sustainability report, Canada Goose said 1.3 million consumers had engaged with the Generations programme. Around 15,000 people chose to use it as a platform for trading-in pre-loved Canada Goose items.
“This resulted in more than 17,000 quality pieces being given the opportunity to have a second or third life,” the company said in the report.
