More than 2,500 delegates from across Australia travelled to Gold Coast at the start of August for the 2024 Australian Cotton Conference. This event takes place once every two years.

Organisers said 160 speakers would take part in the 29 sessions of the conference, covering a wide range of topics, including soil health, climate forecasting, water surveillance, the performance of new cotton varieties, mental health and artificial intelligence applications.
