With no end of the retro sneaker trend in sight, Puma has announced a new version of its Suede XL shoe, an adaptation of a style it first introduced in 1986.

The new version has a sturdy midsole, extra cushioning, a padded tongue and ultra-wide laces, combining to make what the brand calls “over-the-top proportions”.  

Puma has called its relaunch of classic shoes Rewrite the Classics.
