Strategic repositioning for Tencel

Fibres group Lenzing used Intertextile Shanghai, running from August 27-29, as a platform for launching a new branding theme for Tencel.

It gave its flagship lyocell product a new three-word branding theme, ‘Nature, Future, Us’. It said this “strategic repositioning” would enable Tencel to navigate the evolving landscape of the textile industry.

“When consumers see the Tencel trademark, they can rest assured that they are choosing renewable, traceable fibres that guarantee quality and comfort,” said Lenzing’s executive vice-president for the textile business, Kit Ping Au-Yeung.
