Lightweight winter boot from Baffin
Canadian cold-climate footwear and apparel brand Baffin has launched a new lightweight winter boot called Cloud Low, adding the new product to its Ease collection.
An earlier boot, Cloud, which Baffin added to its women’s range in autumn 2023, is the inspiration for the new footwear. This new style “reimagines the ease and support of the original”, with a mid-height nylon upper with a drawstring and locking-toggle closure for what the brand called “no-fuss functionality”.
Cloud Low is insulated with proprietary technology, including Baffin’s next-to-foot wicking layer, Thermaplush, and its B-Tek lining and insulation.
There is also proprietary slip-resistance technology in outersole, including on the heel and forefoot. In addition, the boot has a reinforced toecap for abrasion-resistance and a removable anti-fatigue insole.
Brand director, Jessica Liut, said: “This new boot keeps you grounded, no matter the weather or adventure, all while making your feet feel as light and cosy as walking on a cloud or stepping into a fresh snow pile.”
