Swiss outdoor brand Mammut picked up ISPO 2024 Awards for its Eiger Nordwand Advanced ML hooded jacket and for its FL Air Mesh Vest.

Both garments were engineered with fabrics from Polartec. The hooded jacket is made from the company’s Power Stretch Pro and Power Dry fabrics, using post-consumer recycled nylon. The fabrics deliver four-way stretch and high levels of abrasion resistance and warmth, Polartec said.

For its part, the mesh vest features Polartec’s Alpha fabric to provide lightweight, breathable, next-to-skin insulation with good thermoregulation properties. 

Director of product management at Polartec, Karen Beattie, said it was an honour to partner with Mammut “to achieve these milestones”.
