Tennis star welcomes ASICS support through ‘ups and downs’
Sports group ASICS has added Olympic bronze medallist, Lorenzo Musetti, to its global roster of tennis athletes.
On January 2, Mr Musetti signed a multi-year agreement to wear ASICS shoes in training and in competitions.
Currently world number 17, he secured bronze at the Paris 2024 Olympics, behind Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz. Lorenzo Musetti was also part of the Italian team that beat the Netherlands in the final of the Davis Cup in November.
He said joining the list of ASICS tennis athletes was exciting, adding: “The brand’s tennis shoes are renowned for their high performance and comfort. But even more than performance on the court, I know ASICS is a brand that believes in the power of sport to uplift the mind, and that it supports athletes through the ups and downs. As I step into this next phase of my career, this is incredibly important to me. I’m proud to now be a part of a brand that inspires athletes like me to grow, physically and mentally.”? ?
