Y-3, a range designed by Yohji Yamamoto for Adidas, will be making its first (official) steps on tennis courts at the US Open which begins on August 24. The 18-piece collection features sharp tailoring, technical fabrics such as adidas’ Climacool and asymmetrical motifs inspired by suibokuga, a traditional Japanese ink technique. 

Matching footwear is also part of the line-up, with five classic Adidas tennis silhouettes given a Y-3 twist.

Leading tennis players that are linked to the German brand, from Jessica Pegula to Stefanos Tsitsipas and to Sascha Zverev, are featured in the launch campaign.
