Confidence at Amer Sports that 2024 revenue will pass $5 billion
Amer Sports, parent group of Arc’teryx, Salomon, Wilson, Peak Performance, Atomic, and Armada, has said it now expects its full-year results to show growth of up to 17%. This would take its total revenues for the year to more than $5.1 billion.
It made the announcement in a preliminary review on January 13. Last year, Amer reported its full-year results, with revenue of more than $4.3 billion, on March 5.
On releasing the new review, chief finance officer, Andrew Page, said that, despite “increasing currency headwinds”, the group’s portfolio delivered “another strong quarter of growth and profitability to close out 2024”.
He said particular aspects of the business that made him optimistic about further growth included the continued global expansion of Arc’teryx, which he described as “our flagship”, and the performance of Salomon footwear.
