Sock deal aims to expand Volcom’s reach

Parent group Authentic Brands has announced a new manufacturing partnership for socks for Volcom.
Snowboard-inspired clothing brand Volcom became part of luxury group PPR (later Kering) in 2011. It sold the brand to Authentic in 2019.
As part of the newly announced agreement, a New York-based partner, Majesty Brands, will make socks under the Volcom brand and distribute them across the US and Canada.
Authentic said the aim was to make Volcom socks available for sale in major retailers and so expand the brand’s reach to a broader audience.
