Another addition to the Haelixa board
Weeks after it appointed sustainability advocate Marwa Zamaray to its advisory board, textile traceability technology developer Haelixa has now announced that Nina Marenzi is also joining the board.
Founder of non-profit organisation The Sustainable Angle, Nina Marenzi is the driving force behind the Future Fabrics Expo, which has run since 2011, with editions in London and New York.
She said tracking and verifying the authenticity of materials was important for brands that aim to improve their environmental and social impact. She said she looked forward to contributing to “Haelixa’s mission”.
For its part, Haelixa said Ms Marenzi’s ability “to foster trust within the textile industry”. It added that due diligence in the supply chain was more important than ever and that this appointment had come “at a vital moment”.
