Finnish fibre developer Spinnova has announced that its chief executive, Tuomas Oijala, is to leave the company in September.

Spinnova recruited Mr Oijala in 2023 and he took up the chief executive role in January 2024. He has now informed the board that he does not want to continue.

He will stay and serve a six-month notice period, but Spinnova said it would begin the process of finding a successor immediately.
