The chief executive of Chinese group Zhongqiao Sports, Jeffery Ma, is to become the new president for China for Amer Sports. He will take over from John Yao, who is leaving the group to take up a new leadership role elsewhere.

Mr Ma previously worked at Topsports and at adidas. He will take up his new role on July 1 and will be based in Shanghai.

Amer chief executive, James Zheng, commented: “I am very pleased to have Jeffery Ma starting to lead Amer Sports in China. Jeffery brings a wealth of business and organisation leadership experience from fast-growth businesses in our industry.”
