Innovations from CHT to go on show at Performance Days
Specialist textile chemistry and dyeing solutions provider CHT will showcase a series of new technologies at Performance Days in Munich (October 29 and 30).
It said its particular focus will be on dyeing processes and functional finishes.
Highlights will include Pigmentura, a pigment-based dyeing process that uses no water for soaping and rinsing, and does not require energy-intensive heating of process water.
CHT has said that, as a result of using Pigmentura, water consumption in the dyeing process can be reduced by up to 96%.
In 2024, in partnership with fashion group Inditex, CHT received the German Federal Ecodesign Award for this technology.
Also on display at Performance Days will be water-based textile printing system Ecoprint, a softener called Tubingal, and hydrophilic finish Arristan rAir.
