CHT celebrates Chinese milestones
For German chemicals company CHT, 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of its site in Dongguan and the 15th year of operations for its site in Tianjin. The global company began to expand internationally as early as the 1960s, it said. 

CHT Dongguan was established in 1995. The site was chosen for its proximity to Guangzhou and Shenzhen. It includes production and a laboratory alongside warehouses and offices, and has a staff of 54 people. Following an upgrade in 2017, its production capacity was brought to 9,000 tonnes yearly, and covers primarily textile solutions. 

CHT Tianjin opened in 2010 and specialises in high-performance solutions for silicone-related applications. It has a production capacity of 1,200 tonnes and employs 15 people. 

Both facilities are certified ISO 9001 and 14001, respectively for quality management and environmental management.
