CHT eyes positive future
German chemicals company CHT has released its financial results for 2024, recording a 2% increase in sales, at €614.3 million. The upswing is due primarily to a 14% growth of sales in the APAC region. Earnings (before taxes) made a significant jump to €21.1 million, from under €10 million in 2023.

These positive conditions allowed the company headquartered in Tübingen to increase investments. It allocated €44.2 million in 2024 towards digitalisation, sustainability and expanding production sites.

The chemicals company has recruited new management. In October of last year, Dr. Christian Rink, formerly of Bosch, joined CHT as CFO. This month, Dr. Lorenza Sartorelli, who was formerly at Evonik, began her new position as COO.

CHT Group is part of the Reinhold Beitlich Foundation, which owns nearly 90%, and as such is a company with a mission to support the common good.
