First-half sales for Nike up slightly, despite China fall

Sports group Nike has reported half-year revenues of $24.1 billion. The first half of its current financial comprised the six months to November 30, 2025.

Compared to the same period a year earlier, this total represents an increase of 1%.

Almost $23.5 billion of the total came from sales of products under the Nike brand, with the rest, around $660 million, coming from Converse. Nike sales were up by 2% year on year, but the Converse figure represents a fall of 28%.

Nike’s sales break down as $15 billion from footwear, $7.2 billion from apparel and around $1.2 billion from equipment. Footwear was flat, but apparel sales were up by 7% year on year and equipment sales by 3%.

The brand’s sales in North America rose by 6% year on year to reach more than $10.6 billion. In Europe, there was an increase of 4% to reach $6.7 billion, but there was a substantial downturn in sales in China.

In China, Nike’s sales for the six-month period fell by 13% year on year to reach $2.9 billion.
