RTFKT finds a new owner

Reports in the US say Nike has managed to find a buyer for RTFKT.
The sports group acquired RTFKT in 2021, a year after the start-up that specialised in virtual products and experiences had launched.
In December 2024, though, long after the short-lived frenzy around non-fungible tokens had died down, Nike said RTFKT would cease operating.
It has now confirmed to its local newspaper in Portland, The Oregonian, that a buyer for RTFKT. A Nike spokesperson said the company had finalised the sale on December 16.
No buyer and no sale price have yet been named and there is no official announcement about the sale on the Nike website.
