Sports apparel brand slows growth for Gap
Sports apparel brand Athleta achieved revenues of $1.2 billion in 2025, a decline of 10% year on year.
Fashion group Gap acquired Athleta in 2008. Overall, the group achieved full-year revenues of $15.4 billion last year, an increase of 2% compared to 2024. Its other brands are Old Navy, Gap and Banana Republic.
Chief executive, Richard Dickson, said the group would focus on growing its core apparel business. He said the group wanted to become “a high-performing house of iconic American brands”.
