China’s textile industry is responding to challenges, CNTAC says

The president of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, Sun Ruizhe, has said the global textile industry is at “an important moment” in its history and faces a number of important challenges.
Speaking at the Intertextile Shanghai exhibition in March, Mr Sun insisted the industry in China is responding well to these challenges.
He said: “Our industry here has shown great resilience. Innovation is the driving force behind the industry’s advance, and sustainable production is now imperative.”
