Strong year for Decathlon with revenue growth and impact reduction
Sporting goods manufacturing and retail group Decathlon has reported revenues of €16.8 billion for 2025. This represents growth of 4% year on year.
The group, based at Villeneuve d’Ascq, near Lille, said it had sold almost 1.25 billion products last year. Decathlon closed the year with 1,902 shops in 82 different markets. More than 20% of its sales in 2025 were on its e-commerce platforms.
It also said 53.9% of all the products it sold last year were eco-designed. The group added that sustainable development remained the main driver of its strategy and that its overall environmental impact had reduced by 16% since 2021.
Commenting on the results, chief executive, Javier Lo´pez, said: “I am extremely proud of all 103,000 members of our team, whose commitment made 2025 a year of strong growth. Decathlon is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary in 2026 and we are fully committed to our ambitions for 2030. We want to make a positive impact on the lives of a billion people and we want to take action to preserve our common playground, the planet.”
