Repair programme expansion at Salomon

Following a successful debut of the service in France in April 2026, Salomon has expanded repair programme for apparel and bags to several other European countries.

The programme enables customers to use a simple online process to arrange a repair of a Salomon product, helping them keep gear in use for longer instead of replacing it. The service is now also available in the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands, with further rollout planned across the region.

Customers submit a request online, ship their product to a repair hub and receive it back within 10 days, making repair a practical and accessible option. Salomon covers shipping, while customers pay for the repair itself.

The brand said the service is designed “to remove barriers to repair”.

To deliver the service at scale, Salomon has partnered with United Repair Center (URC), a repair specialist with extensive experience in outdoor products. URC operates facilities across Europe, including Amsterdam, London and Paris.

Salomon’s sustainability and impact director, Marie-Laure Piednoir, said: “Products are built to perform, endure and accompany people through meaningful experiences in the mountain and beyond. Repairing them allows those experiences to last longer.”
