Textile machinery developer Rieter has reported revenues of 576.7 million Swiss francs for the first half of 2026. This represents growth of 72% compared to the same period last year.

There were sharp declines in the Americas and in Europe, with falls of 41% and 28%, respectively. However, Rieter achieved triple-digit growth in China, with sales over the six-month period of 350.3 million Swiss francs, an increase of 237% year on year.

There was also impressive growth in sales in India of 119.8 Swiss francs, up by 69%.
