The European Commission has cleared the proposed acquisition of Eduard Küsters Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co KG, a German manufacturer of calendars used in paper and textiles manufacturing, by the Austrian producer of paper-manufacturing machinery Andritz GmbH. After investigation the Commission concluded that the transaction would not significantly impede effective competition in the EEA or any substantial part of it.
