Bread & Butter attracts high visitor numbers

The number of visitors at Bread & Butter held in Barcelona from January 17 to 19, exceeded expectations at 82,837.

Spanish and Portuguese visitors almost doubled from 18,086 at last year’s winter event to 33,698 this year. 13,517 Italian guests registered compared with 9,126 and 6,784 German visitors registered versus 3,757 last year.

Visitors from Turkey and Eastern Europe showed large increases, with the former rising from 726 visitors in 2005 to 1,114 and the latter from just 295 to 1,082.

The improvement has been partly attributed to the new Active Guest Management scheme which provided greater communication with and service to visitors from across the globe. The next Bread & Butter Barcelona will take place July 4-6.
