VF’s International Outdoor Coalition grows rapidly

VF Corporation’s Outdoor - International Coalition, which includes the Napapijri, The North Face, Eastpak, JanSport, Kipling, Nautica Europe, Reef and Vans brands, has continued to experience strong growth, with European sales of $650 million in 2006, a 25% increase over 2005. On a constant currency basis, International Outdoor Coalition sales grew by 23.7%, with a positive performance across all markets and brands.

The North Face in Europe reported a sales increase of 25%, with growth across all markets and product categories; Vans in Europe saw a 23% sales increase; Napapijri sales in Europe rose 25%; and Kipling sales rose 19%.  The coalition also opened 11 owned stores and 43 partnership stores during the year.

VF Corporation is involved in outdoor products, intimate apparel, image apparel, sportswear and jeanswear. Its principal brands include Lee, Wrangler, Riders, Rustler, Bestform, Nautica, John Varvatos, JanSport, Eastpak, The North Face, Vans, Reef, Lee Sport and Red Kap.
