France-based quality assurance, consultancy and training company CTC Groupe has appointed Yves Morin chief executive officer. Mr Morin replaces Marc Folachier, who is to retire.

Mr Morin was previously chief operating officer, responsible for global operations. Prior to joining the company, he worked as an auditor at KPMG.

CTC has 100 years experience working with manufacturers, retailers and suppliers – primarily in the footwear and leather goods industries – to help improve and monitor the quality of products. Its 150 employees include consultants, trainers, researchers, technicians and inspectors.
