AWI names new Europe boss

Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) has appointed Nagy Bensid head of its European branch, based in Paris. Mr Bensid has taken on the role of regional manager, Europe, following a successful career in the French and international wool industry.

A graduate of ESCP/EAP (European School of Management), Mr Bensid accepted a position within the Prouvost group. He began his career specialisation as a general manager for Chargeurs wool and more recently held the same post at the Dewavrin group.

Mr Bensid has also held several industry positions, including membership of the executive committee of the International Wool Federation.
