New York, founded in 2007 to support and promote environmentally sensitive fashion, has been named as eco-fashion partner to the RITE Conference in London on October 6.
At the event, the organisation will display nine garments made using environmentally sensitive textiles, yarns and processes by high-end designers, including Minna Hepburn, Caira, Morimondo, Banuq and Rianne De Witte.
Founder Giusy Bettoni said on announcing the development: "CLASS is not a green-fad, it is here to stay. We go that one step further working both upstream and downstream, to innovate and introduce wonderful sustainable textile innovations that have solid commercial appeal, and people are really beginning to take notice of how style and sustainability can be one and the same.”
