Hyosung celebrates 20 years of creora with new versions

Hyosung first developed its own process for manufacturing spandex in 1992 and in 20 years, has grown to be one of the largest spandex producer in the world with plants in Korea, China, Vietnam, Turkey and Brazil.
Two new versions of the product will be on show at the special celebration, which will take place on July 8 at Interfilière. One will be a new creora dyeable product, engineered in a proprietary way to absorb dyestuff for high levels of colorfastness. The other will be creora highclo, a version with a high resistance to chlorine.
“We believe that demand for spandex will continue to grow across the world and we have in place a structured investment programme that will enable us to offer continuous product innovation,” said the president of Hyosung’s spandex performance unit, Whang Yun-Eun.
