Ever-Glory’s rapid growth boosts sales by 29%

Ever-Glory, a Chinese apparel company focused on sportswear, outdoor wear and casual wear, has increased total sales by 29% in the third quarter of the year, while sales in its retail branded division grew 109%.

The company has been expanding rapidly, opening 223 stores in the past year. As of September 30, there were 644 stores across 20 provinces in China.

Total sales for the quarter were $69.3 million, boosted by sales in the UK and Japan, while sales for its brand La Go Go hit $24.4 million, primarily due to the newly opened store revenues.

Total gross profit for the quarter was $15.3 million compared with $11.2 million last year.

For the fourth quarter of 2012, Every-Glory anticipates total net sales in the range of $70 million to $90 million and net income in the range of $3.6 million to $5 million. For full year 2012, it expects total net sales in the range of $230 million to $260 million and net income in the range of $9.5 million to $12 million.
