Brazilian industry association predicts growth for 2013

After two years of downturn Brazil’s textile and apparel industry association (Abit) has said it anticipates growth in 2013.

Abit said it expected 2% growth for the year, which would represent a positive performance for the Brazilian industry following a contraction of 4.6% in its textile output between January and November 2012 and a fall of 10.5% in apparel production over the same period.
